I hadn't met Kate and Matt til the engagement session, I didn't know what to expect. I pulled up in my car and saw an adorable couple sitting together with their doggie. I was crossing my fingers in hopes that they were the couple I was going to photograph that day. Sure enough I walked up with my camera and gear and they walked toward me...they asked if I was Lydia, *a little happy dance went on in my head* as I said "Yes, you must be Kate and Matt!". From the minute I saw them I knew they were going to be SO much fun to photograph. Being a wedding photographer you get to see a lot of couples together. You see how they interact with each other and how they treat each other. One of the first things I noticed about Matt & Kate was how sweet they were to each other. Just like they had been best friends forever. I love that kind of love. There is no doubt in my mind that they are madly in love. They are one of those couples where you know their love will last forever. It was a pleasure photographing you two, you guys are toooooooooo cute!
