Scott + Sarah Sutter
I had first met Sarah about 4 years ago through her brother and mutual friends. I Facebook stalked her for a bit once I found out she was interested in photography. Well, I decided to ask her if she would second shoot with me. She shot with me that very first time and, man, I didn't realize what I was getting myself into. This girl is a jewel were my thoughts. She ended up shooting with me several times over so I got to know her on a higher level and it did not disappoint. She was one of the most fun people I had ever met. Full of life! But at the same time I felt like she was someone I could confide in and trust. I guess what I'm trying to say is she is pretty special in the very best way.
As far as Sarah and Scott as a couple?! I call them a POWER COUPLE. They really are, but in a going-over-the-top-for-God way. They have been one of my favorite couples to photograph. They just make each other so very happy because they love God above all. Their attraction to each other is through-the-roof and it's the best-cutest to watch. "Absents makes the heart grow fonder" it worked for them. He was away at school a lot of their relationship so I think that really helped make deep roots for them as a couple and really become best friends that way.
It's hard to explain the amount of excitement that I experienced when Sarah asked me to be their photographer. Like through the roof excitement. Needless to say, it was a huge honor and boy, oh boy, was it a beautttiiffful day. They got married at the church where they had both met. The same auditorium where they first saw each other. In that same auditorium where they had their very first kiss (more on that farther down).
"...I was a very guarded college girl. So no one in my focus class had my number. I told them if they wanted my number they had to talk to my Dad first. So Scott asked me for my Dad's number so he could talk to him. I did a happy dance. They talked for THREE HOURS as they walked around the park, and my Dad didn't give him my number". -Sarah (watch the video they put together to find out what happens. They tell their story best).
I remember one particular conversation Sarah and I had about how she had never been kissed and that she wanted to save it for her wedding day. I had heard several people say they were going to do that but never did. So honestly, I was kind of skeptical at first, but the more I got to know Sarah the more I realized, with Sarah it's different. She was doing this! She wasn't letting no guy have that first kiss until her wedding day, after she vowed her commitment + love to that person, which we all know is Scott now, but at the time she hadn't even met him. It goes to show good things come to those who wait.
She was a bit excited about her first ever kiss.
"...it was more noticing when SHE WASN'T THERE" -Scott.
I adore you both and really excited to see how God is going to use you for his glory.
